Strain the chickpea liquid (aquafaba) into a mixing bowl. Set aside chickpeas for another use.
Mix in 1 tsp of cream of tartar.
Use a hand mixer on high speed for 4 to 5 minutes until soft, fluffy peaks form (like whipped cream).
Gently mix in food coloring. For multiple colors, divide the chickpea sensory foam into bowls and dye separately.
Transfer chickpea sensory foam into the sensory bin. Let them play!
